Our History

ASAMAH KADIRI LEGAL was founded and established in 2025 by Yusuf Asamah Kadiri, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). The firm was built on the strength of his extensive experience in legal practice and his longstanding reputation for sound judgement, strong advocacy, and disciplined leadership. This experience is garnered from over Three decades of very active law practice in other leading law firms, including 26 years at Jackson, Etti & Edu, where he was a frontline Partner; and about Five years of his early law practice career at Femi Okunnu & Co., under the tutelage of Alhaji Lateef Olufemi Okunnu SAN, CON, a foremost early generation Lawyer and Elder Statesman. With over three decades of active law practice experience, Yusuf Asamah Kadiri SAN has built a distinguished career handling high profile complex litigation and arbitration related disputes as well as advising on and acting on significant corporate and commercial transactions. Over the years, he has become known for his depth of legal knowledge, strategic approach to problem solving, and commitment to the highest standards of practice.

The founding of ASAMAH KADIRI LEGAL represents the institutional expression of that experience and reputation, bringing together a tradition of strong legal practice with a forward-looking vision for growth. Since its establishment, the Firm has continued to build on that foundation, guided by the values and professional standards on which it was established.
